A view of the town from the road headed south. Richard Griffiths lived on Tabernacle terrace which was just to the right of this picture out of view. That house was torn down c 1986. John Griffiths (b1824) lived on Cwmbowydd road which goes to the left of the picture. Large amounts of Slate debris can be seen at the foot of the hill in the background

Two Views of Llechwedd Slate mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog where Richard Griffith(s) b. 1859 worked before he came to Vermont. Richard was a Miner, the highest grade of Quarryman, and was responsible for bargaining the amount of slate that could be taken out by his team.

A Roberts family still lives in the house where the blue baby carriage sits. The houses are reportedly in poor condition on the inside despite the robust solid stone contruction
